We will introduce LINK project 2020!!

This year it’ll be held from June 17th through June 25th.

DAY1: ✨Welcome Ceremony✨

We’ll hold this ceremony at Mita Campus.

Canadian students and Japanese students will introduce themselves each other and quickly form friendships! Have fun!

DAY2: ⛩Asakusa Day⛩

Asakusa is famous for its historic sites such as Sensoji Temple. Moreover, there are some delicious Japanese-style confections around the temple. You can enjoy both sightseeing and foods!

DAY3:🎍 Cultural Experience Day🎍

We are going to experience shodo, arts of writing using a brush and ink. Furthermore, we’ll try other Japanese  cultural experiences and go to a museum to know the Edo era.

DAY4~DAY5: ⛰Short Trip Day⛰

This is the most fulfilling event of this project! By spending time with us under the same roof, you can feel the differences of culture or lives between Canada and Japan. Additionally, you can see the fantastic and “peaceful” scenery in Atami, so there is the gap between Tokyo and there!

DAY6: 🍳Cooking Day🍳

We’ll make Japanese foods! The menus are flour dumpling soup, bracken-starch dumplings, and rice seasoned and cooked with seasonal ingredients. Especially, flour dumpling soup was eaten during the war, so we would be able to think about “peace”.

DAY7: 🏢Company Day🏢

We’re going to visit a construction company! You will learn about how Japan confront various natural disasters such as earthquake countermeasures. Let’s have a think about “peace” from a perspective of disaster defenses!

DAY8: 🎈Peace Day🎈

We'll think about “peace” deeply. Visiting some Historical sites (Yasukuni Shrine, dugouts in Hitoshi etc.) would make us re-realize the importance of "peace". Through the discussion from global perspectives, moreover, we will find our ways to realize international "peace"!

DAY9: 😪Farewell Ceremony😪

This ceremony is a final event We’ll look back at 9 days in this project while watching special movies and so on. Finally, we have to say goodbye...
